a stay with minor setbacks
spacious room comfortable room polite staff street noise missing desk early noise
the urban room was spacious. it was also very comfortable. all the staff were polite. i thought the breakfast portions at raw restaurant were generous.
street noise was loud, even with the windows closed. i also noticed there was no desk area. this meant i could not work on my laptop in my room. i was woken very early by the street noise.

The staff showed great initiative. I wrote to them that i'd cut my finger on the bottle caps. They turned up at the door with alcohol swabs and bandaids. The à la carte breakfast was a real treat, it brightened our mornings. Amazing attention was given to details in terms of the hotel's unique design.
The rooftop pool and the entire pool seating area were closed for cleaning for the whole next day. I was not informed of this beforehand, it was not advertised anywhere.
